When I asked Ga Young if she wanted to make an arrangement for one of my songs, she didn’t have to think twice: ‘Remember your song we played when we were in Berklee? I want to do Concept of Falling!’ Ga Young is a very talented Korean pianist, composer and arranger, and I think she knew exactly what the song needed. After recording all the parts, we did a bunch of long-distance zoom calls to really get it right, and lastly, we added the piano solo, which she transcribed for me, so I could sing along.
