Continuing the journey of the Femmes. In this soundscape we are back on the motorcycle, driving further into the jungle. We get to meet the femmes de Virunga and you hear them talk and digging in the ground. I also incorporated the many different sounds that were sent to me, one of them being from Rose Tang: ‘I sang in Mandarin the first line of a well-known old folk song from Yunnan, China (bordering Tibet, Thailand, Burma). The lyrics: Half moon is climbing up.’
